What this site promises, and what it does not.
octosec.co is an informational site for a product that is not yet released. Reading it creates no contract; these terms exist so nobody has to guess what the content commits us to.
The figures are ours, measured on stated hardware. Every number on this site carries a caption naming the machine and build it was measured on. Ratios travel; absolutes do not. Nothing here is a promise about performance on your hardware, and screenshots labelled "design render" are renders, not captures.
No warranty. The site and its content are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Product warranty terms will be part of the licence when it is settled, not of this page.
No advice. Nothing here is legal advice. Surveillance is regulated — consent to audio recording, signage, retention and biometric rules vary by jurisdiction, and deploying cameras lawfully is the operator's responsibility.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. Where the law does not allow that limitation, it applies to the extent it does.
The content is ours. Text, design and images are © Octosec except where noted. The typefaces are SIL OFL licensed. Quote with attribution; do not pass the content off as yours.
Governing law. Stated here once the operating entity, and with it a jurisdiction, is settled.
